Erin and I first met when I hired her as a summer camp counselor on a recruiting trip to Texas A&M. She liked me so much that she decided to intern at Rockin' C Ranch and she lived with Steve and I for 4 months :). We became very close and it's such a blessing to see her with her family now. Our kiddos are just months apart in age but since she got hitched she's moved up into the panhandle so we rarely get to see each other. I wish our visit was longer but we got some great shots.

Jimmy's 1 year
I can't believe it's been a year since little Jimmy's newborn session! It makes me so sad because:
#1 I don't get to see this precious family every 3 months and
#2 my baby boy is going to be this BIG in JULY!! :(
Bless his heart, little man had the flu just days before and still was feeling a little punk but he hung in there with us.

The Kristynik Family
My favorite shot from this shoot has to be Grandad Kristynik reading "The Night Before Christmas" to all his grandkids. Its so neat to see how the Lord has intertwined our paths over the past few years. Laura and I have mutual friends through the TAMU Equestrian team, of which she was a rider. And her brother John is my cabinet maker so you've seen his work if you've followed my Barn House building on Facebook. This is what I love most about my job. I get to make memories for people and I feel like what I can give them is a precious gift. We often take for granted the little moments and the precious time that we have with our loved ones. This family knows never to take a minute for granted. This is a valuable lesson we should all know and hopefully never have to be taught.

Robert and Alison E-session
What a beautiful couple! I love shooting Alison with her raven black hair and deep, big brown eyes. And Robert is quite the stud himself. :) I like a man in a cowboy hat AND he plays the guitar. These two were naturals...I love it when I don't have to explain how to snuggle. Too bad you have to wait a whole year to see their wedding pictures at Double Creek Crossing. I'm sure it will be well worth the wait!
