Jenny's Sneak Peak

We had a WONDERFUL shoot today with the beautiful bride, Jenny, and her awesome sister-in-law, Lauren. This shot was Lauren's idea, so she gets all the credit. You'll have to wait another month for the release of her full bridal post. Can't wait to show you!

Mindi

Beautiful.

Lil' Miss Piggy

Olivia had the most ADORABLE little knitted hats and capes I've ever seen and I was dying to get them all on camera, but poor little Olivia's tummy was bothering her during our shoot. She wasn't too excited about the wool caps that day but we managed to catch her in a couple of them. Brad and Laura will just have to have another baby so we can photograph the tiger, rabbit and ladybug too. :) Big props to Grandma for her hard work making them!!! Here are a few of my favorites...

Adam and Juliette's Wedding

How exciting to be able to shoot a wedding at my own home! Our land held a special place in the hearts of Adam, a family friend for many years, and Juliette because one of their first dates was over a year ago, before our house was built, right where our living room is now. Adam set up a movie screen and had a nice quiet evening with our cows watching over their shoulder. Last Summer, Adam proposed to Juliet under the grove of trees that you see the guys standing under below. Again with the cows eavesdropping. And now, this January they decided to say their vows at a place that contains those memories and special moments together. What a blessing it is that this place I call home now.

We just moved into our new house in September and with much of the construction done ourselves, we had A LOT of clean up to do to get ready for 200+ people coming in. It's good to have a deadline sometimes to get things done, ya know?! Just a side note, but little has been done since then. I guess we need another event to get more stuff done.

Well, this was quite the wedding party! 9 bridesmaids, 9 groomsmen, 7 in the house party (honorary bridesmaids), 5 flower girls, 3 ring bearers, and a partridge in a pear tree. :) Having an outdoor wedding in January is risky business but there were so many people praying for good weather that we all knew it would turn out just right. Maybe it was my pregnancy hormones, but I too was crying when you walked down the aisle. It was a beautiful and moving moment!

Thank you so much A&J for not only loving our place as much as we do, but also allowing me to capture your wonderful day on camera. All your thought and preparation made for a beautiful ceremony!

Juliette wore her mother's wedding gown.

I'm crying at this moment and so is Adam.

From tears to joy...

A tearful goodbye.

Elise's Bridals

Stunning. Breathtaking. Frigid. Those are the words that come to mind when I think of Elise's bridal shoot. Bless her heart, it was about 40 degrees and 20 mph winds the day we shot. She was frozen solid and shaking in her Sketchers. You'd never know by the beautiful images we got. Well, I did have to blur out a few goose bumps. We didn't stay in this spot the whole time, but all my favorite images came from here because the beautiful, tall grass was just irresistible after this long drought we've had.

Elise is the type of girl that doesn't know how beautiful she is. She has such a sweet, meek spirit about her and her beauty shines from within. I'm sure I made her uncomfortable because I couldn't help but keep telling her how stunning she was. Well, I'll let you see for yourself...

Kiley and Jason's Esession

It was so great to get to finally meet my precious friend Kiley's fiance, Jason. We had a great time hanging out and shooting and Jason was a great sport. We started out at some friends' land near Kyle, TX with their backyard being the beautiful Blanco River. Then we moved into the cute town of Kyle and Buda to shoot around some of their fun rustic buildings. I'm so bummed I won't be able to shoot their wedding cause I'll be about ready to bust then being two weeks from my due date. It's always an incredible privilege getting to capture a brides' special day, but in this case I still get the honor singing and being a bridesmaid in the most fabulous wedding of the year. :) Love you K and welcome to the family, Jason!
