I love hay bales, but I'm allergic

I just went to the allergist yesterday for testing and they said I'm allergic to my husband. Well, not REALLY, but I am allergic to lots of grasses which makes hay, which my husband is around all day and brings it home to me!

I still love hay bales though and in the middle of winter, it sure is great texture to have in a photograph.

What a fun, sweet family! I really enjoyed getting to know you!!

Brick-Lined Alleys

It's amazing what you discover when looking through the eyes of a camera. For instance, I never would have found myself wandering down an alley in the inner city, but we found some really cool shots. The great thing about urban shoots is that you don't have to travel far to find great shots and cool textures. I feel so blessed to live in a town that I feel safe wandering around in alleys with little kids.

Speaking of kids, are these not BEAUTIFUL? And I love the cozy pic of mom and dad on the doorstep! One of my favorites. Sorry about all the sugar, Lindsay. I'm sure the kids were bouncing off the walls the rest of the day. At least we got some good pictures to show for it. Enjoy!

Its a Baby Shower...

But you have to say it like Martin Short aka "Franc" on Father of the Bride II... "eets ah behbeh showehr!" That guy cracks me up, really one of my favorite characters in any movie. Anyway, such a beautiful setting for a shower. I think I might have to get pregnant so I can have a shower here too cause a bridal shower is out. I like the man I got. He's a keeper.

Congrats again Darla on your new baby girl!! Can't wait to meet her!!!

So much fun !!!

I loved this shoot...a combination family, kid AND maternity. Their love for each other was so real and genuine. It was really difficult for me to choose my favorites cause there were just so many that I loved. Jenny, I hope you don't mind me revealing your beautiful belly to the world...

I am nicknaming this the "maternity tree" cause it has turned out to be a great prop in my maternity shots. :)
