Meredith and Greg's Wedding ~ Anderson, Texas

Meredith and Greg chose to have their Wedding celebration at a life-long family friends vineyard and plantation-style home close to Anderson, where Meredith grew up. The grounds were amazing. The owner has a super cool collection of wagons and buggies. A cold front blew in the day of the wedding, and I do mean BLEW. Like the kind of cold that bites, takes your breath away, and cuts deep into your bones. Thankfully, the ceremony and reception were indoors!

Meredith, bless her heart, had come down with the flu the night before the wedding. She felt miserable, but still looked beautiful. She was such a great actress and trooper, braving the cold winds to get our beautiful shots in the front pasture. No one knew she was even ill and she hung in there until the very end! She told me later that she actually had to go to the ER later. The ceremony was held inside the mansion in a large hall with the owner's pipe organ. Playing the organ is one of his many hobbies. Murals and extravagant furniture decorated the home and the reception was held in his carriage house, which they transformed for the party.

I loved Meredith's choice of vintage milk glass vases and the cute silver trays she used for dinner plates. Beautifully written chalkboard signs and vintage details were a great touch and added such charm to the evening. Even though the memory of having the flu on your wedding day may leave some regrets, I hope the images captured leave many wonderful memories for Meredith and Greg to cherish forever.
